We Earn Commissions on Some Recommendations
Oleah is supported in part by affiliate commissions. When the mobile application launches, some product recommendations may include links to third-party retailers (such as Sephora, Ulta, Amazon, Cult Beauty, iHerb, and similar). If you click an affiliate link and purchase a product, we may earn a small commission from the retailer at no additional cost to you.
How We Mark Affiliate Links
Affiliate links and recommendations will be marked clearly within the application and will include a visible disclosure consistent with FTC requirements. We do not hide or obfuscate affiliate relationships.
Editorial Independence
Affiliate commissions do not determine which products are flagged as conflicts, surfaced as compatible options, or recommended as replacements within Oleah. Recommendations are generated by our matching engine based on:
- Public ingredient data from sources such as INCIDecoder and CosDNA
- Your existing routine and any sensitivities or allergens you have recorded
- Compatibility with the other products on your shelf
A product's affiliate-program status does not raise or lower its visibility in our recommendations.
Networks and Partners
We may participate in affiliate programs operated by:
- Skimlinks, Sovrn, and similar consolidator networks
- Direct programs operated by retailers (Sephora Affiliate Program, Ulta Affiliates, Amazon Associates, Cult Beauty Affiliates, and similar)
The list of programs may change over time without notice.
No Endorsement
The presence of an affiliate relationship does not constitute an endorsement of any product, retailer, or brand. Conversely, the absence of an affiliate relationship does not constitute disapproval. We have no control over the inventory, pricing, fulfillment, or shipping of any retailer.
Your Choice
You are never required to purchase through an affiliate link. You can find and purchase any product directly from the retailer of your choice. Recommendations are presented as suggestions, not requirements.
