If you already have the app, tap your name at the top of Today to open Settings, then tap Help.
Delete your account
You can do it yourself, inside the app.
- Tap your name at the top of Today to open Settings.
- Under Your Data, tap Delete Account.
- Read what gets deleted, then tap Confirm.
- Type Delete My Account exactly, with those capitals and that space, then tap Confirm.
Confirm stays off until the words match exactly. Deleting your account is also how you withdraw your consent. There is no other switch for it.
You need to be online to delete your account. If you're offline, reconnect and try again.
If you pay through the App Store
Cancel your subscription first, in Settings, Apple ID, Subscriptions. While it is set to renew, you can't delete your account, because deleting it doesn't stop Apple billing you. Once it is cancelled you can delete, even if paid time is left. Beta and free accounts have no subscription, so nothing stops them.
What happens next
The moment you confirm, your face photos and face scan are deleted. That means the face geometry, 3D face points and the scan logs that contain them. They can't come back. Shelf photos go within about 10 minutes, reminders stop, and you are signed out.
The rest of your account is deleted after 30 days. Our privacy policy lists what that covers.
If you change your mind, sign back in within those 30 days and tap Restore my account. Signing in alone doesn't cancel the deletion. Restoring brings back your non-biometric account data. Your face scan and face photos do not come back. After 30 days the account is gone and cannot be restored.
A few records stay after that. We keep the record of the Terms and consents you agreed to for 6 years, purchase records for 5 years, and a record that the account was deleted. Our privacy policy has the details.
Cannot open the app? If you lost the phone, deleted the app, or never got in, email privacy@oleah.skin from the address you signed in with and ask us to delete the account.
Get a copy of your data
Also in the app.
- Tap your name at the top of Today to open Settings.
- Tap Privacy & my data.
- Tap Export my data.
Oleah makes a zip file of your data on your phone and opens the share sheet, so you can save it or send it where you like. Nothing is emailed. You need to be online while it runs. If some face photos cannot be opened on that phone, the app tells you.
To ask for access, a copy, a correction or deletion, to object to or restrict how we use your data, or to ask who receives it, email privacy@oleah.skin. To withdraw your consent, delete your account in the app (Settings, then Delete Account).
Common questions
What is Oleah?
A skincare app for iPhone. You scan your face once a day, and Oleah tracks redness, texture and glow region by region against your own earlier scans.
You add the products you already own to a shelf. Oleah counts each product's days of use from the day you start it. After 7 days and at least 3 scans with a product in your routine, Oleah tells you what it thinks that product is doing for your skin. It sells nothing and earns no commission on anything it mentions.
What device do I need?
An iPhone with Face ID, running iOS 16.4 or later. If your phone doesn't have Face ID, it can't run the scan.
There is no iPad version and no Android version.
How does a scan work?
Hold the phone in front of your face and slowly turn your head so the camera sees both sides. It works best in steady morning light on a clean face.
One scan counts per day. If you open the scanner again after you have already scanned, Oleah takes you to today's read instead of starting a second one. If a scan fails, move toward a window and try again.
What happens to my face photos?
They're tied to your account. Oleah uses them to read your skin and to compare your scans over time. An outside AI service reads each scan photo. When you delete your account, your face photos and face scan are deleted straight away. Full detail is in our Biometric Policy and Agreement.
Who else can see my data?
Oleah's team and AI tools review chats, skin results and health details to run, check and fix Oleah. Beyond that, only the services that help Oleah run, and only what they need to do their job. The full list is in our privacy policy.
How do I sign in? I forgot my password.
There is no password. Oleah signs you in with Apple or with Google, and that account is the key to yours. If you cannot get back in, write to us from the email address you signed up with.
How do I get access during the beta?
Oleah is not on the App Store yet. The beta is free and runs through Apple's TestFlight app.
Tap Download beta anywhere on this site and follow the three steps. It takes under 2 minutes.
What does it cost right now?
Nothing. There is no price in the app and there is nothing to buy in it today. Beta builds ship with everything unlocked, so there is no paywall to hit and no subscription to manage or cancel.
If that changes, you will see the price and the billing period on the purchase screen before anything is charged.
Why does Oleah ask for my camera, microphone and photos?
Camera: your daily face scan, and snapping the products on your shelf. Microphone: the voice messages you send in chat. An outside AI service turns your voice into text, and Oleah keeps the text, not the recording. Photos: a photo you attach in chat or add for a product.
Is there an age limit?
Yes. Oleah is for adults aged 18 and over.
If a birthday shows that someone is under 13, we delete that account and its data straight away. If it shows 13 to 17, the account is blocked, the face scan is deleted then, and the account is deleted 30 days later.
Is any of this medical advice?
No. Oleah is a skincare tracking tool, not a medical device. Every skin read is an estimate from your photos, not a diagnosis, and nothing in Oleah is a treatment. If something on your skin looks serious, see a licensed dermatologist or a doctor.
Something is broken. What should I send you?
Your iPhone model, the iOS version, roughly when it happened, and the email address you sign in with. That is usually enough for us to find it.
