No! Oleah makes sense of the products that you already own. All you’ll need to do is snap a photo of your shelf, and Oleah will immediately identify those products, and allow you to add them.

A label scanner reads individual products, and usually gives you a score based on ingredients. Oleah holds your entire shelf (all the products you own) and your morning scans in one place, and shows what changed over time.

The app also shows ingredients in products, but most importantly, shows you if they work for your skin over time.

By snapping a photo of all your products together, Oleah finds those products, analyzes when you use what, and will tell you based on ingredients and purpose what needs to be changed. Oleah is science-backed, meaning that the recommendations she makes are based on the scientific compatibility of products’ ingredients, rather than a surface understanding.

Yes! Once you tell Oleah when you use which products, Oleah will look for any red flags in your routine. She’ll even suggest to you the best way to reorganize your routine (or not use a product at all).

In rare cases, Oleah may not recognize your products. When that happens, you should simply use the search functionality to find it. You can still add it to your shelf.

After seven mornings with a scan, you’ll be able to start comparing photos side by side. That is a look at your skin, and seeing how your skin is changing based on Oleah’s recommendations. That’s how you’ll understand whether it works or not.

Every day Oleah reanalyzes how your skin is progressing, and based on logged products, she’s able to associate changes to your skin with ingredients. For most users, this starts happening after 14 days.

Oleah can help track progress of your acne. Oleah sees your breakouts as you scan, and can help you focus on different goals. However, Oleah’s output is not medical advice or care of any kind. For medical care, see a dermatologist.

The best results happen when your face is evenly lit (a space with lots of natural light, in front of a window for example, is best), and ensure you move your head slowly for clarity.
